Bike and Ski Service

 

We are the Yukon’s only full-service, year-round bike shop, open six-days-a-week through all the seasons. Our mechanics are qualified to handle everything from a minor adjustment on your handlebar to a full overhaul of your high-tech suspension system. During the winter months, we specialize in skis, fat bikes and winterization procedures to keep your wheels turning, even at minus 40 (if you are so inclined…). Our staff are a friendly and knowledgeable resource for any question you may have. Don’t hesitate to talk to us about any issues you may have with your bikes or skis. Services we offer include:

During the busy months for bicycle service work (March to October), please call ahead or drop by and make an appointment. This applies to major service work, such as tune ups. Flat repairs, tire swaps/installations, and other minor service can be simply dropped off, or if we’re not to busy, fixed while you have a coffee and browse the shop. Please advise us if you are wanting one of the Mainline service packages as these require much more time than regular service packages and we need to set-aside the appropriate amount of time for your bike. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


We have limited room for storing bikes in the service area. As such, bikes that are not picked up within 7 days of being serviced are subject to a $3/day storage fee. Bikes left at the store for more than 6 months will be considered abandoned, and disposed of at our discretion.

 

Icycle Sports Bicycle Service Agreement

During its first year, a new Icycle bike may require minor adjustments. You can bring it to Icycle Sports for free adjustments and minor maintenance for one year after purchase. No need to make an appointment, just bring it in, as most adjustments will only take a few minutes. Sometimes we will have to keep your bike for a few hours depending on the issue and the work-load at the time.

Adjustments and maintenance include tightening of cables, bearing adjustments, minor wheel truing, and general check ups. The Service Agreement covers the cost of service and labour but does not include the cost of replacement parts or advanced repairs. Any part found to be defective is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which can be found in the package you got with your bike.

Both the manufacturer’s warranty and the Bicycle Service Agreement cover normal use and riding conditions.

 

Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or abuse is not covered. 
Normal wear and tear on items such as tires, tubes, brakes, gear cables, and brakes is not covered. 
The Service Agreement applies to the original owner only.
